Hello there!!

I’m Will Aleshire! Nice to meet ya! ;-)

I’m composing music for video games with traditional orchestral instruments and hybrid sounds. Creativity flows through my veins and I’ve worked with many different mediums for art. As I’m sure many can relate…you just have to get your hands on something that you can create into something new. Throughout middle and high school, and into my first years at college I played the trumpet, euphonium, piano, and sang in the choir. I loved to doodle but I’m a terrible drawer. In high school and college I dabbled in pottery and sculpture….that was really fun!!

I had to take a detour in life while in college to work and figure some things out. It’s not easy deciding your life when you’re 18. I worked for a while and fell in love with baking and pastry arts. Having such a big sweet tooth all my life I really enjoyed working in pastry kitchens. After pastry school and a 16 year long career as a professional baker it was time to make a change. Music has always been there as a ray of hope and inspiration throughout my life….and I guess video games have been there with me as well since I was probably about 4 years old.

My Dad introduced me to video games with a commodore 64 computer and also the classic Atari console system. I would play games with my brother for hours, if we could, with River Raid, Asteroids, and Pong. As years went on so did the video game tech. As the tech got better so did the amazing music that brought those games to life in a memorable way. some games that have really been my favorites are Final Fantasy 7, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Chrono Trigger. I love being able to escape to a different world, solve some puzzles, beat up some baddies, meet all the NPCs, and have a lot of fun along the way.

I’m looking to bring your game project to life for that memorable experience. Through thematic music. That can tell a story, or depict a scene. I love to collaborate so that the sound identity of a game is unique but supports the overall main vision for the game. Now, you know more about me, it’s time to get to know about you. What’s your game about? What inspires you to create something and share it with the world? Looking forward to chatting. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Cheers!
